    I recently bought bulbs of several bougainvillea varieties, and would like to know if there are any special conditions required (soil type, time of year, depth of planting, etc) when planting. These are intended for growth on my balcony. Thankyou for any useful advice!

    Hi Daniela,

    Bougainvillea do not start out as "bulbs". Are you sure they are bougainvillea plants? Possibly the nursery or garden center where you purchased them mis-labled the plants as bulbs?
