E-Store terms and conditions apply to all online RETAIL orders placed for products identified on the company’s RETAIL order system. Please read them carefully. By entering the site and placing an order with us you are accepting the E-Store Terms and Conditions set out herein. All terms and conditions will be strictly adhered to.

We reserve the right to alter, suspend or discontinue any aspect of this web site or its content or the goods and services available via it. Further, unless otherwise stated, any new features including new content and or the sale of new goods, shall be subject to the terms and conditions.
Shipping Policy
BGI ships LIVE PLANTS to the Continental United States ONLY.
Shipping
Orders may take up to 5 days to process and package. BGI offers USPS Priority Mail (2-3 days) and Fed Ex Home Delivery (1-5 days) service for all customers. Please allow up to 10 days from your order date to receive your package(s) before contacting us on its status.
Closed for Business
BGI does not process or ship orders on Saturday or Sunday. We are also closed for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. If these dates fall on a weekend, we are closed on the generally accepted observed holiday.
Payment
All payments must be made at time of purchase and are made subject to acceptance by you of the site’s terms and conditions. Fulfillment of the order is subject to stock availability and acceptance of your order, and the company is under no obligation to fulfill your order. You can place your order by website only. If you experience any ordering difficulties or have any concerns, please email us. Please ensure you leave the correct contact details.
Prices
Prices shown are accurate at a certain date but are subject to change. Any change will be advised to you where applicable and will be shown on the web site as soon as possible.
Currency
All prices quoted on this web site are in U.S. Dollars (USD). Payments must be made in U.S. Dollars. Credit/debit card sales will be charged in your local billing currency by your credit card provider.

Prices shown exclude postage and packaging, unless otherwise stated.
Shipping Time
While most orders will be processed within 5 days, please allow up to 10 days for delivery from receipt of orders. Some stock items can be sent by overnight delivery; an additional charge is made for this. Please contact our office via email for details.
Goods Not Available For Shipment
With the best intentions in the world, some goods just may not be in stock at the time you place the order. In the event that we cannot ship your goods within the time stated, we will contact you to offer you the alternatives or to provide you with the opportunity to cancel your order.
Cancellation and Returns
You have the right to cancel your order if the product has not yet been packaged up (ready for ship), or not yet been shipped out (has not left our facilities). If product has already been packaged, you will be charged a handling/re-stocking fee of $5. If the products has been packaged AND shipped (is no longer at our facility), we will refund your money, less the cost of the original postage within 30 days of receipt of the returned goods provided that they are not damaged, open or used. Buyer is responsible for postage of return of product to Company. Where product is received by Buyer in a broken or defective condition please contact us via e-mail within 3 days of receipt. Please note that we may not accept return of any product unless such return has been agreed in advance. Any items returned to Company are at the responsibility of the sender and we would strongly advise you to insure them against loss or damage. Please ensure that you keep any proof of postage.
Refunds
If you feel you have been incorrectly charged for the products you have ordered, or that your delivery is different to your original order (except where it has been agreed in advance by both the company and the customer) please contact us via e-mail. All refunds will be made within 30 working days from the return of goods in full but excluding any postage or packaging costs.
Complaints
Should you feel the need to make a complaint about the services or products provided by our company or in the efficiency with which your order has been handled please contact us via email. Such matters will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt and we aim to resolve your complaints as quickly as possible. Such matters will be treated in the strictest confidence and you will be kept informed of the progress of the complaint if it relates to a third party, i.e. couriers. In the event that goods ordered by you have not been received within 15 working days, please contact us via the instructions stated earlier.
Damage in Transit
Sometimes, though rarely, goods get damaged in transit. If this happens with your shipment please advise us within 48 hours. However, since we never knowingly ship damaged goods, we need your help to try to recover our costs from the carrier wherever possible. If you do receive damaged goods please retain all relevant documentation so that an insurance claim can be made against the carrier’s insurers. If you receive a battered parcel, please note your observations on the delivery form, even before you open the package to examine the contents. If you are unable to open the damaged package in the presence of the carrier, make sure that you sign for it as: “Damaged package, goods not yet inspected” or similar to warn the carrier that a claim may be forthcoming. Whatever the circumstances please contact us by email with as much detail of the loss or damage as possible, so that we can arrange a replacement. Please DO NOT return damaged goods to Company unless and until requested to do so, as this may incur additional costs unnecessarily.
Shipping in Winter Months
Because our nursery is located in South Florida, we can ship our tropical bougainvillea year-round even in the winter. In fact, our most spectacular show of colors take place in December/January. Although temperatures in our region are warm enough year-round to ship bougainvillea, your local temperatures may be too cold to receive them safely. Remember that bougainvillea are outdoor tropical plants, and need full sun and high heat to perform its best. When your daytime temperatures falls close to 35F, we will be unable to ship bougainvillea to you in a safe manner, so we highly recommend waiting to take shipment when your weather warms.
In winter months, we do not recommend receiving our bougainvillea if you are in the states of: Alaska, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Vermont, & Wisconsin. We suggest you wait until Spring to place your order so that you can receive the best bougainvillea possible.
